They claim the first spots on the list of registered Players

The beautiful grounds in Beckum Phoenix Park, where the Münsterlanders organize a large disc golf event over four days, allow a total of 90 spots. On Ascension (Thursday, May 29) a German tour-C tournament, the 3rd Beckum Open ( 3. Beckum Open (Registration starts on 29th of March) will take place, with up to 84 starting positions.

Friday, they will host the 1. Beckum Doubles on the 21 tracks. Two rounds will be played.

On saturday morning (May 31) it becomes interesting. We will find out who will be the first Euro Tour winner in Germany, after a long abstinence of EuroTour Tournaments in Germany. Therefore, the waiting list is (as of 5 March) filled well already

In addition to the DGA CEO for International Affairs, Jörg Eberts, other players like Christian Plaue, Klaus Kattwinkel, Gregor Marter, Kevin Konsorr, Jerome Braun, Torben Casser and Tobias Berens can be found on the list. In addition, you can currently find the Swiss Champion Martin Jenny, Per Gylle from Sweden and the Dutch Bert Brader, Marion van Linden, Rens Agterberg and Laurens Beschop. Every day this list will be longer and more international.

It is possible to camp in the Phoenix Park. In Beckum there is also a lot of very affordable accommodation in guest houses, apartments and small hotels.

The food in the park will be serverd by GW marathon. The “dining car” will offer, besides fries and meaty dishes, daily changing hot dishes – even for vegetarians. The small marquee invites you to an evening discussion of the day’s events with well-chilled beverages or hot coffee.

The course, which is not yet final due to the rather unpredictable vegetation, was created by Joseph Rippel and Michael Konsorr. It takes everything on to trees, hills and water which the Phoenix Park has to offer.

The anticipation is increasing day by day. This is true even of the TD, who “unfortunately” can not play himself.
